Jason Lambert, an associate in Nelson Mullins' Tampa office, was named to the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County effective July 1. Lambert is a civil trial attorney with a focus on serving clients in the construction and real estate industries, and he is also President of the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
Habitat for Humanity Hillsborough was founded in 1987 and is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which seeks to provide people with affordable housing. The Hillsborough chapter has built and renovated more than 200 homes throughout the county.
Before his career in law, Lambert spent close to a decade working in the construction and development industry, providing him with a unique insight on how best to serve his clients as their attorney. He has worked with contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, developers, and financial institutions in commercial and complex litigation.
