ATLANTA – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP announced today that Vanessa G. Morris has joined the firm as a partner in Atlanta. She joins the Real Estate Investment, Finance, and Restructuring Group, bringing the total number of team members to 40. She joins from Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, where she was a partner.
Vanessa represents developers, lenders, and servicers in connection with multifamily real estate projects, many of which include Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae financing, low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, tax exempt bonds, Federal Home Loan Bank AHP funds, and state or local HOME funds. Her experience also includes representation of lenders in bridge, construction, term, and CMBS loans, as well as life company loans for multifamily, retail, and office real estate projects.

Morris earned her JD from Georgia State University and a BA, cum laude, from Brenau University.
