BOCA RATON – Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel announced today that healthcare attorney Heather S. Miller has joined the firm as of counsel in Boca Raton. She joins from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where she was associate general counsel.
Miller will focus her practice on the business, operations, and regulations of healthcare providers, facilities, and other companies. She has served as counsel to large physician groups, surgery centers, private corporations, hospitals, and other healthcare businesses on a wide range of transactional, corporate, regulatory, and governance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, contracts, corporate governance, and fraud and abuse matters.
She has been recognized for her work by Florida Trend in their “Legal Elite” and the South Florida Legal Guide as a “Top Lawyer,” among others. She earned her JD from Brooklyn Law School, an MBA from Zicklin School of Business, and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
