Connor Mitchell Selected for United Way Community Leadership Program

Greenville associate Connor Mitchell has been selected for United Way's "That's My Greenville" program, a leadership program that trains young professionals for a lifetime of community involvement and volunteerism. Mitchell joined Nelson Mullins in September 2019 and focuses his practice on the financing, acquisition, leasing, and sale of commercial real estate properties.

Along with other participants, Mitchell will engage with the program over a seven-month period for leadership development seminars that deeply explore community needs and issues such as education, health, transportation, housing, and homelessness. The program is meant to encourage board service, volunteerism, and civic engagement by young professionals and establish a foundation of purpose throughout the advancement of one's career. Nelson Mullins has long been a partner with the United Way.

Mitchell practices in the firm's Greenville office, focusing on clients in the real estate and financial services industries. He clerked with the South Carolina Attorney General's Office in 2017 and served on student government at the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science. Mitchell earned his JD from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Established in 1897, Nelson Mullins has more than 800 attorneys and government relations professionals with offices in 11 states and Washington, D.C. For more information on the firm, go to www.nelsonmullins.com.
