DENVER – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP announced today that Blake A. Gansborg has joined the firm in its Denver office as of counsel. He joins from the firm Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell LLP, where he was an associate attorney. Prior to that, Gansborg was with the New York City office of Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP.
Gansborg’s legal practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in state court, federal court, administrative forums, and arbitration proceedings. He has secured positive results for clients across a broad range of industries, including automotive manufacturers, utility companies, oil and gas clients, and financial institutions. Gansborg has also represented corporate clients in governmental and internal investigations, including matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and other securities self-regulatory organizations.
Gansborg previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond Moore of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, and Order of the Coif, from the University of Michigan Law School. He currently serves as a board member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado and as a mentor in the Law School Yes We Can organization.
