Columbia Team Members Participate in Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night

On November 2, 2017, Team Nelson Mullins raised more than $17,000 at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night event.   Led by Cory Manning, who is on the LLS Executive Committee, Encompass team members who joined the effort were Julie Flaming, Lucie Cohen, Augusta Thompson, Rick McGee, Ann Brock, Jacob Henerey, Colton Driver, Jeanne Howe, Saundra Gibson, Kenya Lightly, Evan Benjamin, West Lee, Joe Fornadel, and Clara Smith. 

This walk around the South Carolina State House grounds by 600 participants is expected to have raised around $275,000.  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.
