Broadway World South Carolina
A recent Broadway World South Carolina article featured Greenville partner Dick Riley and the sculpture honoring his lifelong dedication to public service. The piece will be unveiled on Monday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. at the Peace Center. According to artist Zan Wells, the sculpture honors Riley's commitment to education for all and extraordinary public leadership.
Riley, who joined Nelson Mullins as a partner in 2001, held the longest term for U.S. Secretary of Education and became known for championing public education through higher academic standards, support for teachers and college-bound students, comprehensive afterschool programs, and widespread internet access for various public institutions. Before that, he served as governor of South Carolina.
