ATLANTA – Women Looking Ahead magazine has recognized Anita Wallace Thomas, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Atlanta office, as one of 'Georgia’s Most Powerful & Influential Women' as part of its annual Law and Justice Awards. The magazine is published by Women Works Media Group.
The publication recognizes attorneys and judges who have devoted their careers to serving the public interest in their respective pursuits of justice, according to the organization. Their efforts result in positive change within the community-at-large, the state, or the nation.
Thomas practices in litigation involving general commercial litigation, franchise litigation, drug and medical device litigation, product liability, employment litigation and toxic tort. She has served as president of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and currently serves on the board of trustees of the Leadership Institute for Women of Color in Law and Business.
