Arthur D. "Art" Sims II comes to Nelson Mullins as a partner from The Sims Legal Group in Orlando with a broad legal and business background that includes intellectual property law and real estate development transactions.

As a partner in Nelson Mullins' corporate practice since Sept. 11, Sims said the firm has so far eased his transition by giving him plenty of guidance and tools.

"It's refreshing and actually quite exciting to have the platform to give my clients even more expansive services," he said. "Nelson Mullins is very forward thinking and allows you to be innovative.
