Following an announcement from President-Elect Joe Biden nominating D.C. Circuit Judge Merrick Garland to serve as U.S. attorney general, Law360 invited Nelson Mullins attorney Cory Patterson to share his insights on the Department of Justice’s priorities under Garland’s leadership.
Patterson, a former assistant district attorney, commented on Garland’s highly respected tenure as a jurist. “His top priority will be to assert a nonpartisan posture toward enforcement and defending the interests of the United States.
