The Nashville Business Journal has named Jason I. Epstein, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Nashville office, to its 2018 class of “Best of the Bar.” According to the publication, nominations are accepted from the public, then nominees vote on who should receive the recognition. More than 80 honorees are selected in 18 areas of practice. Epstein is one of two selected in technology law. Click here for the full methodology.
Epstein is a co-leader of the Nelson Mullins Technology and Procurement Group. He also is an adjunct professor at the Vanderbilt University Law School, where he teaches “Law of Cyberspace.” Epstein has experience in blockchain, AI, cognitive computing, Internet of Things, electronic signatures, cloud computing, privacy and security, and open source code, as well as many other technology issues facing healthcare and other companies.
