The call from your client never comes at a good time. It is almost always on a Friday. In fact, clients never even begin to think about a Temporary Restraining Order or Preliminary Injunction until lunchtime on a Friday. Slipping out early for an afternoon boat ride is all you have had on your mind for maybe the whole week. Then the call comes, and drafting motions and affidavits in triple time is in your immediate future. You have no time to wallow in the mire, and the boat is going to have to wait.
