Columbia partner Jim Rogers, associate Joe Fornadel, and Atlanta partner Brandee Kowalzyk have authored a chapter in "Science Basics for the Drug and Medical Device Lawyer." Published by DRI as part of its Defense Library Series, the book is intended to provide background knowledge, and act as a starting point, in several areas that defense practitioners commonly encounter. Their chapter is titled "Bleeding and Clotting."
Mr. Rogers practices in the areas of product liability, commercial litigation, and consumer fraud actions. He primarily has been engaged in the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device companies since 1991. Mr. Fornadel focuses his practice in the areas of pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, product liability, e-discovery, and antitrust litigation. Ms. Kowalzyk practices in the areas of pharmaceutical and medical device defense, commercial litigation, aviation, and product liability.
