Case Law and Policy Changes in PTAB Practice During 2019

In an article published on IPWatchdog.com, Nelson Mullins partners John Bauer and Tom Engellenner lay out the key policy changes at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) in 2019.

“PTAB appeals are now the largest single component of the Federal Circuit docket, with over 600 appeals docketed in FY2019 – almost double the number of appeals that the Federal Circuit received from District Court patent decisions,” Bauer and Engellenner write.
