Columbia partner John Martin will be moderating a panel at the 11th Annual Electronic Discovery Institute (EDI) Leadership Summit in Santa Barbara, Calif. The panel, "Discovery Issues that Keep Counsel Up at Night," will discuss the ever-evolving world of e-discovery and how it can affect in-house counsel and legal departments.
In-house and outside counsel are continuously faced with adapting to new technology such as online communications and project management platforms. This breakout session will explore e-discovery managing efforts, discuss how they impact counsel's legal and ethical responsibility, and examine tools and strategies that can assist in managing e-discovery in a structured and cost-friendly manner.
Nelson Mullins is also a Summit Ambassador sponsor of the conference.
Martin is a litigation partner whose practice focuses on the interplay of high stakes litigation, e-discovery, information management, and cybersecurity. He is a leader of the Nelson Mullins Electronic Discovery and Information Management practice group, Nelson Mullins Encompass.
