Atlanta attorney Bess Hinson (center row, third from left) welcomes participants to the inaugural Atlanta Women in Cybersecurity Roundtable sponsored by Nelson Mullins. Women in cybersecurity leadership positions in Atlanta’s leading corporations met Tuesday to discuss the cybersecurity challenges faced by various industries. Specifically, the group addressed the topic, “Managing Cyber Risk Together: How the CISO and In-House Counsel Collaborate to Protect Company Data and Combat Threats.” In honor of the women present, Nelson Mullins made a donation to the Girl Scouts of Great Atlanta STEM program, which seeks to ignite girls’ natural curiosity and creativity while they build critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
