Greenville of counsel Cindy Crick will speak at Goodwyn Mills and Cawood's (GMC) Women's Leadership Luncheon on Feb. 28. In her time as assistant solicitor in South Carolina's 7th Circuit Solicitor's Office, Crick spearheaded the Violence Against Women Task Force, gaining insights on violence against women in South Carolina and the prosecutorial strategies that would bring them justice. GMC is one of the largest architecture and engineering firms based in the Southeast.
Crick will lead a breakout session on discrimination and harassment alongside Myra Reece, Director of Environmental Affairs at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Other breakout topics target common questions that arise for women leaders such as life balance, building alliances, tackling imposter syndrome, and speaking with confidence. Former Director of Economic Development and Interim City Manager for the City of Greenville Nancy Whitworth will give the keynote speech at noon.
