COLUMBIA, S.C. (August 2) -- The S.C. Economic Developers’ Association has appointed George Wolfe, a partner in Nelson Mulllins Riley & Scarborough's Columbia office, as vice president. The association is a not-for-profit organization of 550-plus members whose primary objective is to increase the effectiveness of individuals involved in the practice of economic development in South Carolina by encouraging cooperation, exchange of information, and promotion of professional skills. 

Mr. Wolfe practices in the areas of economic development, corporate, and governmental law. He chairs the firm’s Economic Development Practice Group.
