Two Experienced Corporate Attorneys
Join Nelson Mullins in Boston

BOSTON (June 12, 2012) -- Two experienced attorneys have joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as partners in the Boston office, expanding the services the law firm offers to its general corporate and technology clients in business and financial matters as well as regulatory compliance. 

Juan Marcelino focuses his practice on securities enforcement matters, representing corporate entities, officers and directors in matters involving, among others, insider trading, financial reporting, offering fraud, and other securities law violations. In addition, he also conducts internal investigations and provides crisis management advice to public and private companies and counsels on the creation and implementation of corporate compliance programs. Mr. Marcelino also represents investment advisors and broker dealers in various regulatory matters. He served from 1993-2003 as the District Administrator of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Boston District Office. Before joining Nelson Mullins, he was a shareholder in the Boston office of Greenberg Traurig. 

James P. O'Hare represents technology-based companies, their boards of directors, and investors in the areas of general corporate matters, mergers & acquisitions, dispute resolution, and public and private financings. Mr. O'Hare also represents private equity funds, including funds of funds, in their formation, capital raising and portfolio investment activities. Mr. O'Hare has served clients as a lawyer, a public company general counsel and senior executive, and an investment banker. He previously was a partner at the Boston office of K&LGates.
