Nelson Mullins Launches Sports Law Practice With the Addition of Jay Fee

FeeBoston, MA (April 4, 2011) - - Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP has launched the firm’s Sports Business Law Practice with the addition of Jay W. Fee, as of counsel in the Boston office.

Mr. Fee has been a National Hockey League Players' Association certified agent for the past 17 years.  As a player agent, he has negotiated approximately $250 million in player contracts. He also has represented the legal interests of various clients in the world of sports and negotiated major sponsorship agreements with PepsiCo, Nike, Southern Company and Fleet Bank (now Bank of America).

The sports law practice group will serve colleges and universities, professional sports franchises, league offices, facility owners/operators, developers, concessionaires, naming rights holders, corporate sponsors and licensees, coaches and executives, broadcast networks, media rights holders, amateur athletic associations, and governmental entities such as sports and convention authorities.
