Alex Shin Joins Nelson Mullins in Atlanta

ATLANTA (Nov. 28, 2011) -- Tai Hyun (Alex) Shin has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP's Atlanta office as an associate.  He practices in the areas of debt finance and restructuring.  Mr. Shin also focuses on Korean companies in the automotive industry.

Mr. Shin earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from Emory Goizueta Business School in May 2011. Mr. Shin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in May 2000.

Between college and law school, Mr. Shin worked in marketing for Sony Korea Corporation. He also served in the Korean Military as a KATUSA (Korean Augmentee to the United States Army), working as a liaison soldier between the 2nd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army and the Republic of Korea Army.

Mr. Shin is a native speaker of Korean.
