Two Experienced Litigators Join Nelson Mullins in Atlanta
ATLANTA (April 26, 2011) – An experienced litigation partner and associate have joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough’s product liability team in the Atlanta office. Partner Frank R. Seigel and associate Noshay L. Collins bring considerable experience to the Firm in complex civil litigation defense.
Mr. Seigel is an experienced travel law litigator, having defended tour operators all over the country. He defends many foreign companies and also has an expanding practice in risk management. In particular, Mr. Seigel protects foreign companies from the U.S. legal system.
He has represented both national and international clients in a wide range of industries, including mining equipment, firearms, general contracting, heavy equipment and industrial machinery. His litigation experience is equally diverse and includes representation of clients in both state and federal courts. He also has experience in employment law and litigating termination of distributors throughout the US.
He is a frequent speaker at professional and industry conferences on product liability topics.
Mr. Seigel earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1980 from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. In 1974, he earned his Bachelor of Science, with honors, from Nasson College.
Ms. Collins focuses her practice on representing domestic and international clients in the defense of products liability and complex commercial litigation. She represents clients in matters in state and federal courts and arbitration. She has experience defending clients in a variety of different industries, including heavy machinery and industrial equipment, automobile component parts, energy, cargo airlines, real estate, cable television, travel and insurance.
She earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2005 from Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Collins served on the Moot Court Board. She also completed an internship at the Georgia Supreme Court with the Honorable Chief Justice Leah Ward Sears. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from the University of West Florida.
