Nelson Mullins, McAngus Offering Free Wills
to Aiken Area First Responders
AIKEN – South Carolina residents who are first responders in the Aiken-North Augusta areas and their spouses are encouraged to discuss estate planning free of charge with attorneys from Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough and McAngus Goudelock & Courie. The "Wills for Heroes" day will be July 27 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the New Ellenton Fire Department Training Center on Chimebell Church Road in conjunction with the Aiken County Firefighters Association.
The Nelson Mullins Wills for Heroes program was developed in response to the tragedies of Sept. 11, 2001. Since that time, the law firm has provided thousands of free wills to first responders throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.
"Nelson Mullins has only become stronger over the years in our commitment to provide free wills to our local heroes," said Nelson Mullins' Michael Anzelmo, who coordinates the wills program in the South Carolina Midlands. "We are pleased to partner with volunteer attorneys from McAngus Goudelock & Courie and look forward to providing as many wills as we can at the July 27 event."
"We are excited to partner with Nelson Mullins in this wonderful service provided to our first responders," said James R. Courie, managing partner of McAngus Goudelock & Courie.
