Kuppens Elected National Director for DRI
COLUMBIA, S.C. (Oct 31, 2011) – John F. Kuppens, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Columbia office, has been elected to a three-year term as a National Director for DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar. DRI is an international organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation, and it has more than 22,000 members. DRI's National Elections were held at its annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
An active member of DRI, Mr. Kuppens has held numerous positions within the organization, and he is the immediate past chair of DRI’s Product Liability Committee. Mr. Kuppens also serves on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association.
Mr. Kuppens has been in practice for more than 22 years and concentrates his practice in product liability litigation and regulatory counseling, commercial litigation, and toxic tort litigation. For a more complete bio, click here.
