Nelson Mullins' Harrington Elected President
of S.C. Grant Professionals Association

COLUMBIA, SC -- Steve Harrington, grant services director at Nelson Mullins, has been elected as president of the South Carolina Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association.
Mr. Harrington is experienced in identifying competitive funding opportunities from government sources as well as writing, securing, and managing grants and reporting requirements. Before joining Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, he held grant-related positions in both state and local government.
Mr. Harrington formerly served as grants administrator for Clarendon County, S.C., where he administered multimillion dollar project funding among 130 different projects from 15 different funding sources. He also has served as a grants officer for the Charleston County (South Carolina) School District and was grants coordinator for the South Carolina Department of Public Safety/South Carolina Department of Highways and Public Transportation.
The South Carolina Chapter was established in 2010 to serve South Carolina’s grant writers, grant managers, and other professionals in the grants industry.
