Nelson Mullins' Gilroy to Serve on Tech Council Foundation Board

GilroyWASHINGTON (July 29, 2010) -- Alexis Gilroy, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Washington office, has been elected to serve on the Board of the Tech Council of Maryland Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) initiatives throughout Maryland to ensure there is a next generation of skilled workers for technology companies.

Ms. Gilroy advises clients on a wide range of corporate, renewable energy, and healthcare issues. She is a frequent speaker and author on healthcare, energy, and environmental topics. In 2010, she was accepted as a Population Health Associate (non-faculty affiliate) with the Jefferson School of Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University.
