Nelson Mullins Partners to Participate in Diversity Conference

WASHINGTON, DC (Feb. 24, 2011) -- Washington, DC, partner Al Foster and Boston partner Juliane Balliro will participate in Pursuing Diversity in the New Economy: A Shared Responsibility on March 25 at The Catholic University Of America v Columbus School of Law in Washington.

The program will examine the recession’s impact on diversity in the legal profession, diversity as a “shared responsibility” among corporations, law firms and law schools, and identify best practices for recruiting, training, and retaining minority attorneys.

Ms. Balliro will moderate a panel entitled Diversity by Design: The Corporate Perspective. Mr. Foster will participate in a panel discuss on The Law Firm Challenge: Refocusing on Diversity after the Downturn.
