City Center Partnership Appoints Nelson Mullins' Lehman to Board
COLUMBIA (Jan. 21, 2011) --City Center Partnership has appointed Columbia partner Jim Lehman to its Board of Directors. He joins the 30-member board in overseeing the organization's mission — to focus on filling vacancies in commercial properties, retaining existing downtown businesses and recruiting new ones, expanding the downtown residential base, providing security, maintenance and marketing to create a safe, clean and friendly downtown environment. Mr. Lehman practices in the areas of corporate and securities litigation, white collar investigations, professional liability, antitrust, and environmental and mass tort litigation.
City Center Partnership is a nonprofit organization that manages South Carolina’s only managed Business Improvement District in the 36-block area bounded by Gervais, Elmwood, Assembly, and Marion Streets in downtown Columbia. The organization is funded by the property owners within the district boundaries.
