Two Nelson Mullins N.C. Attorneys
Named in Inaugural 'Best of the Year' List
RALEIGH (Nov. 18, 2009) - Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough North Carolina-based partners Noah Huffstetler and Denise Gunter have been recognized in Best Lawyers in America's inaugural "Best of the Year" categories.
Mr. Huffstetler, managing partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Raleigh office, has been named as the inaugural "Raleigh Best Lawyers Health Care Lawyer of the Year" for 2010 by Best Lawyers, a peer-reviewed publication on the legal profession.
In addition to healthcare law, Mr. Huffstetler practices administrative law and business litigation. He is a noted lecturer in healthcare law, having participated in programs sponsored by the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Hospital Association, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the Duke University Graduate Program in Health Care Administration.
Ms. Gunter, managing partner of the Winston-Salem office, has been named as the inaugural "Greensboro Area Best Lawyers Health Care Lawyer of the Year" for 2010.
In addition to healthcare law, Ms. Gunter practices in the areas of antitrust, healthcare antitrust, litigation, with particular emphasis on healthcare matters, and certificate of need issues. Ms. Gunter is a frequent speaker before the North Carolina Bar Association on various antitrust issues affecting healthcare providers.
