quattlebaumGREENVILLE (Sept. 9, 2009) -- The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) has selected A. Marvin Quattlebaum, Jr., managing partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Greenville office, for membership in the organization as a Fellow, a distinction afforded to less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.

Mr. Quattlebaum practices in the areas of business litigation, product liability litigation, and other complex civil litigation. His litigation experience includes transportation industry products, contracts, class actions, business torts, trade secrets, federal and state unfair trade practices, securities laws, shareholder and partnership laws, commercial and consumer laws, and technology contracts. He regularly appears in jurisdictions throughout the Southeast.

He currently serves in the House of Delegates of the South Carolina Bar and serves as Secretary of the Board of Governors. Earlier this year, the University of South Carolina honored him with its distinguished Compleat Lawyer award, which recognizes alumni for outstanding civic and professional accomplishments.

Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based on excellence and accomplishment in litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
