Pearce to Lead Chamber Campaign
Charleston partner Bobby Pearce has been elected as Chairman of the 2009-2010 Charleston Metro Chamber's Total Resource Campaign. Mr. Pearce, who is also the 2010-11 chairman-elect of the entire Chamber, is the first chairman-elect to also serve as head of the TRC campaign. The prior TRC campaign raised approximately $2.3 million, which is used to fund all of the Chamber's programs for businesses in the Charleston region.
Mr. Pearce also has been appointed to the 32-member Board of Directors of the Maritime Association of South Carolina, which since 1926 has been the nongovernmental organization charged with advancing and promoting the interests of South Carolina's ports with respect to foreign and domestic shipping and commerce.
