Two Nelson Mullins Attorneys Named to The State's 20 Under 40
COLUMBIA (Jan. 25, 2011) -- Columbia associates Dan D'Alberto and Candace Jackson have been named to The State newspaper's 20 Under 40, a group of Midlands South Carolina young professionals who are making an impact on the community and also show great promise for tomorrow.
Mr. D'Alberto assists clients with complex litigation issues ranging from patent licenses and non-compete provisions to commercial litigation and product liability matters. His community service encompasses a variety of interests, including serving on the board of directors for S.C. Economics and as chairman of the American Cancer Society of the Midlands. Ms. Jackson practices in business litigation, ranging in areas from employment and labor law, commercial and consumer finance law, and toxic torts. She is a member of Women in Philanthropy and co-founded the Candace Girls Education Foundation, which provides vocational training and the financial means for underprivileged and parentless girls to go to school.
