Legislative consultant Helen Sloat works with Mr. Jones, serving as an advocate for various clients, including businesses, health care providers and insurers. Ms. Sloat tracks state and federal legislation, drafts bills and amendments including requests for the securing of appropriation items, and lobbies for their introduction and passage.
