Employment and Labor - National Labor Relations
Board Proceedings

We have extensive experience in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.  We are especially knowledgeable with regard to:
  • Defending employers charged with unfair labor practices by a union or individual with the National Labor Relations Board including investigation of alleged interference, restraint, coercion, discrimination, refusal to bargain, or unlawful dominance or assistance of employee committees.
  • ·Handling representation petitions and hearings to determine appropriate bargaining unit, unit placement, and other issues on behalf of employers before the National Labor Relations Board.
  • Union avoidance counseling and programs including on-site audits to assess and reduce the client’s vulnerability to union organizing.
  • Representing employers including processing claims against unions before Administrative Law Judges, the National Labor Relations Board or the United States Courts of Appeals with regard to representation hearings, unfair labor practice hearings, injunctions, secondary activity, unlawful picketing or handbilling or any other aspects of labor law.
  • Counseling employers on minimizing the risk of National Labor Relations Act claims.
