Defeating Class Actions

Nelson Mullins has experience in defending both economic and personal injury class actions against pharmaceutical companies. This experience includes conducting class discovery and developing expert witnesses to assist in fighting class certification. We have successfully opposed class certification in numerous pharmaceutical class actions. In one recent matter, Nelson Mullins lawyers successfully defeated class certification in the Southern District of California where plaintiffs sought to certify a national class alleging financial damages resulting from the sale of several prominent over-the-counter cough and cold products.
