U.S. Treasury Releases SBLF Materials for S Corporations and Mutual Institutions
Today the United States Treasury released term sheets, application forms, and other guidance for S Corporations and Mutual Institutions seeking to participate in the Small Business Lending Fund ("SBLF"). These materials can be accessed by following this link to the SBLF website. Treasury has set a June 6, 2011 application deadline for S Corporations and Mutual Institutions to apply for SBLF funding.
In its release announcing the term sheets and application materials, Treasury reminded all other banks and savings associations that next Monday, May 16, 2011, is the deadline to apply for SBLF funding. Application materials and other additional information for these institutions is available here.
Given these short deadlines for applying for this program, if you have any questions regarding the SBLF application process, or if you are debating whether SBLF funding is appropriate for your institution, please contact Len Rubin at len.rubin@nelsonmullins.com,(202) 712-2885 or Ben Barnhill at ben.barnhill@nelsonmullins.com,(864) 250-2246 for assistance. We will provide a complete analysis of the terms of the SBLF program for S Corporations and Mutual Institutions in the coming week.
