Yasamine Julia Christopherson is an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough who practices in the areas of pharmaceutical and medical device litigation and business litigation.
Ms. Christopherson earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 2008 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was named to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Wig and Robe. She received CALI Awards in Secured Transactions, Business Corporations, Administrative Law, and Criminal Procedure. She served as the academic assistance tutor for Torts I & II and was awarded both the Karen Lee and Shepard Kollock Nash-Davidson Scholarships. Prior to law school, she gained experience working as a paralegal at a South Carolina law firm.
Ms. Christopherson is the author of "Conflicted about Conflicts? A Simple Introduction to Conflicts of Laws," S.C. Lawyer 34 (Sept. 2009) and "The Rescue Doctrine Following the Advent of Comparative Negligence in South Carolina," 58 S.C. L. Rev. 641 (2007).
She graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2003 and served as co-captain of their Division I tennis team.
