Stephani M. Hildebrandt is of counsel to Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Washington, D.C., where she practices in the areas of financial services, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and securities law. Ms. Hildebrandt counsels clients on a wide range of corporate and securities matters, including public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, mutual-to-stock conversions, mutual holding company reorganizations, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting compliance and corporate governance matters.

Before joining Nelson Mullins, Ms. Hildebrandt worked in law firms in both Washington and Boston.

Ms. Hildebrandt is a member of the Bars of the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She also serves as president of the Suffolk University Alumni Association’s Law School Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Chapter and is a member of the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association.

Ms. Hildebrandt earned her Juris Doctor from the Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 2000, where she served as associate managing editor of the Suffolk University Law Review. She authored "Physicians, Nurses & Housestaff: The Continuing Struggle for Collective Bargaining Rights" published in the Suffolk University Law Review, Vol. XXXIII, No. 1, 1999. While at the law school, she served as president of the Health Law Society and vice president of Internships & Study Abroad in International Law.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in both International Relations and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin. She studied international relations, political science and Arabic in Cairo, Egypt, in 1994-1995.
