Stefania Cammarata Bondurant is an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP who practices in Greenville in the areas of corporate, international trade and business, and immigration. Ms. Bondurant has been involved in international business and commercial transactions, export/import and customs law with a focus in the automotive, chemical, and aviation industries.
She interned at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome, Italy, and has experience handling cases for the S.C. Centers for Equal Justice.
She earned her Juris Doctor in 2007 from the University of South Carolina School of Law where she received the CALI Award in International Trade Law, the G.G. Dowling Award, the 2006 Constangy Brooks & Smith Diversity Scholars Award, the ILS President's Award, the Compleat Lawyer's Award Bronze Medallion and was on the President's List.
As a student member of the John Belton O'Neall Inn of Court, she served as senior articles editor of the Journal of Law and Education, was a Moot Court Bar member, founded and served as president of the International Law Society, and was a member of the Pro Bono Board. While in law school she was a member of the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division, a member of the National Italian American Foundation, Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, the Christian Legal Society, the International Law Society, and the European Law Student Association.
She attended the Katholieke Universiteit School of Law in The Netherlands as an Erasmus student and earned a law degree at LUISS University Rome, Italy, in 2002, where she also served as a fellow researcher and teaching assistant.
In addition to English, she speaks Italian and Spanish and has studied German and French.
