Michael J. Anzelmo

Michael J. Anzelmo, an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, practices in Columbia in the areas of appellate, business litigation, construction law, consumer finance litigation, tort litigation, and insurance defense.

 

A former law clerk to Chief Judge Kaye G. Hearn at the South Carolina Court of Appeals, Mr. Anzelmo also worked as a staff attorney for the S.C. Court of Appeals. He also has worked as a law clerk for law firms in South Carolina and Louisiana.

 

Mr. Anzelmo also has work experience in the hospitality and golf industries. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Horry County Bar Association.

 

In 2004, Mr. Anzelmo earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He also attended Loyola University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Staff. In 2000, Mr. Anzelmo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Wofford College. He also has studied in Mexico, The British Virgin Islands, Venezuela, and Trinidad and Tobago.
