Robert B. Crowe is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in its Boston and Washington, DC offices. He is co-chair of the Firm's Government Relations practice.  

Mr. Crowe represents clients before federal, state, and local legislative, regulatory, and administrative agencies. He works with clients to prepare and implement government relations strategies, introductions to public officials, and political and legal analysis.

He has extensive experience in real estate and corporate/securities matters. Throughout his successful and distinguished law career, Mr. Crowe has handled numerous private placements of debt and equity for corporate clients and led management labor representations for public and private sector clients. He has served as counsel for numerous real estate transactions totaling more than $50,000,000. He has also won multimillion-dollar severance settlements for senior executives. 

Mr. Crowe served as co-chairman for Finance for the Democratic National Committee during the 2004 Presidential campaign. He serves as the co-chairman of Senator John Kerry’s Finance Committee and PAC. He is also a member of the Finance Committees of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 1993, he was named the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee’s “Man of the Year.”

Mr. Crowe received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and his Masters of Laws in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit, the Supreme Court of the United States, and the United States Tax Court.

A resident of Boston, Mr. Crowe is active in charitable organizations in his community. He founded the Shattuck Shelter for the Homeless, served as director and treasurer of the Charles River Association for Retarded Citizens, and for 25 years served as trustee, and as the chairman of the Law School Committee at Suffolk University.

Mr. Crowe is a member of the American, Massachusetts, and Boston Bar Associations.
