Nichole Biglin Andrighetti, an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, practices in Greenville in the area of intellectual property law.  She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
 
A member of the South Carolina Bar, Ms. Andrighetti is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Greenville County Bar Association and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association.  Ms. Andrighetti is also a registered patent attorney and a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Carolina Patent, Trademark and Copyright Law Association.  
 
Ms. Andrighetti's practice focuses on domestic and international patent and trademark prosecution.  Ms. Andrighetti is experienced in counseling clients on additional intellectual property matters, including availability, registration, infringement, invalidity, and enforcement of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. In addition, Ms. Andrighetti has significant experience drafting and negotiating licensing agreements regarding various intellectual property rights.
 
In 2004, Ms. Andrighetti earned a Juris Doctor, with highest honors, from Drake University Law School where she was named to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Ms. Andrighetti was a finalist in the Supreme Court Moot Court Competition and was awarded the Davis, Brown, Koehn, Shors & Roberts Award for Excellence in Advocacy.  Ms. Andrighetti was also a member of the Drake Law Review and the Intellectual Property Law Society. Ms. Andrighetti is the author of the Note, “Enablement: For the Judge of Jury? Markman v. Westview Instruments, Inc.’s Analysis Applied,” 52 Drake L. Rev. 142 (2003).  In 2001, Ms. Andrighetti earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, magna cum laude, from Wofford College.
