Jennifer Mallory is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Columbia where she practices in the areas of advertising law, intellectual property (patent and trademark litigation), and business litigation.

A member of the South Carolina Bar and the West Virginia State Bar, Ms. Mallory is admitted to practice before the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the District of South Carolina and the Southern District of West Virginia.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mallory practiced with a prominent firm in West Virginia and served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Joseph R. Goodwin of the Southern District of West Virginia.

Ms. Mallory is a member of the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association and the West Virginia Bar Association. Ms. Mallory was elected to serve as the president of the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar for the 2005-2006 bar year. Thereafter, Ms. Mallory served as member of the Board of Governors of the South Carolina Bar from 2006 through 2008.

Ms. Mallory earned a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1996. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of The Environmental Law Digest and was a member of the National Moot Court Team. In 1992, Ms. Mallory was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. In 1993, Ms. Mallory earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, cum laude, from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina, in the areas of French, International Studies and Public Relations.
