Glen P. Caulk is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Columbia where he practices in the areas of real estate, corporate law, banking, and municipal finance. A member of the South Carolina Bar, Mr. Caulk works with clients including lenders and developers in various capacities, such as closing transactions, negotiating leases, and structuring loans and workouts. He has been involved with various government approval processes ranging from HUD Interstate Land Sales and Fannie Mae to local planning and zoning. Additionally, Mr. Caulk has worked with Firm lawyers on environmental, foreclosure, economic development, and bankruptcy matters.

Mr. Caulk has experience in all aspects of the creation and enforcement of horizontal property regimes. He has performed quiet title actions, title insurance claims defense, been involved in negotiations involving tax credit based transactions, asset-based lending, loan participations, and transactions involving fee in lieu of tax, like-kind exchanges, sale-lease back, synthetic leases, wrap mortgages, and mezzanine financing.
 
Mr. Caulk is a member of the American Bar Association, the Richland County Bar Association and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association. He has served as a director of the Palmetto Land Title Association. Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, he practiced with another South Carolina firm.
 
In 1994, Mr. Caulk earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Carolina in 1989.
