Christopher J. Daniels is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP who practices in Columbia in the areas of general litigation, product liability defense, and business litigation. National counsel for a leading U.S. home appliance manufacturer, Mr. Daniels also represents several leading tire manufacturers. Having tried more than 20 cases to verdict, Mr. Daniels has extensive experience in personal injury lawsuits and matters involving products liability, premises liability and trucking liability.

A member of the South Carolina Bar, Mr. Daniels is admitted to practice before the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Richland County Bar Association (president, 2000; executive committee, 1996-2001) and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2003-2010).

In 1985, Mr. Daniels earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court, Delta Theta Phi, and the Order of Barristers. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Davidson College in 1982.
