Harold R. "Chad" Lott is an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP with a practice focused on corporate governance, securities, bank regulatory, mergers and acquisitions, and executive corporate matters. With an emphasis on community banks and established private companies headquartered in South Carolina.

Mr. Lott represents financial institutions and their holding companies during the organizational, capital raising, and business combination processes. He advises these entities on both bank regulatory issues and public reporting obligations.

He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2007 from the Charleston School of Law, where he was technology editor of the Federal Courts Law Review and was a member of the Golden Key and Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society.

Mr. Lott earned his Bachelor Degree in Marketing, magna cum laude, in 2004 from Clemson University.
