Bill Hogan is a partner with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Boston practicing in the areas of business litigation, governmental relations, administrative law, and sports business law.
Experience
- Litigator with experience in the United States District Court, as well as the Superior Court and District Courts in Massachusetts
- Has been in private practice since 1985

Served as outside counsel to Congressman Martin Meehan during the impeachment hearings before the House Judiciary Committee (1999)
- Reviewed all documents and evidence released by independent counsel Kenneth Starr and provided advice to Congressman Meehan in the performance of his duties as a member of the Judiciary Committee
- Served on the Transition teams of two Treasurers of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Chaired the Operations Subcommittee of Treasurer Tim Cahill’s Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission Transition Team
- Responsible for administration and personnel matters and was involved in the process of interviewing candidates for the position of Chairman of the Commission
- Began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County from 1982 through 1985, where he prosecuted numerous jury and bench trials
