Ms. Cornelison is admitted to practice before the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Ms. Cornelison has represented numerous international commercial clients in business disputes, transactions, and product cases. She has experience in complex class action litigation, including shareholder and bondholder suits.

 

Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Ms. Cornelison worked in radio and television news. She won two Associated Press awards for journalism and was named the 1997 Country Music Association’s Broadcast Personality of the Year for Medium Market Radio Stations.

 

In 2000, Ms. Cornelison earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was named to The Order of the Coif, served as editor in chief of the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal, and earned six CALI Awards and the Senior Research Writing Award. Ms. Cornelison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and International Studies, cum laude, from the University of South Florida in 1989.
