Allison C. Ford is an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough practicing in the litigation group.
A former summer associate of the Firm, she has experience in matters related to toxic tort, commercial, product liability, and general litigation. She also worked for the Kettering Foundation research organization as an independent research contractor, as a summer research assistantship coordinator, and as a summer research assistant.

Her volunteer work includes serving as a facilitator/discussion leader for the Community Alliance for Education, the North Carolina Civic Education Consortium, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 2005 Public Engagement Pilot Project on Pandemic Influenza. She also interned at Mediation Services of Forsyth County.
Ms. Ford earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2008 from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a Law School Association Scholarship recipient and a quarterfinalist in the Talmadge Moot Court Competition. She was executive editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and was secretary of the Black Law Students Association. Ms. Ford also did clinical work in the Special Education Practicum and advocated for parents of students with special needs.
Ms. Ford earned a B.A., cum laude, in Political Science and English in 2004 from Wake Forest University.
