Lane W. Davis is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP. Mr. Davis practices in Greenville in the area of business litigation. A member of the South Carolina Bar, Mr. Davis is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Prior to joining Nelson Mullins in 2004, Mr. Davis was affiliated with another leading South Carolina law firm. Before entering private practice, he served law clerkships at the United States Attorney's Office in Atlanta and with the Federal Trade Commission.

Mr. Davis is a member of the American Bar Association, the Greenville County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association

In 2000, Mr. Davis earned a Juris Doctor from the Emory University School of Law where he received a Certificate of Excellence for Criminal Litigation and was elected Honor Court Justice in the Student Bar Association. Mr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy, cum laude, from Boston College in 1997.
